The July Essay Fiesta has shaped up to be a great show. We just got word that we’ll be a Metromix Best Bet yet again! Also, we’re pleased as punch to showcase our final reader, Amy Guth!
Amy works for a real-live newspaper. You may have heard of it. It’s called the Chicago Tribune. (Note: Keith’s blog Satire and the City is part of the ChicagoNow network which is owned by the Tribune. Also, check out his blog.) Amy is the digital news editor for the paper’s books section.
In addition, Amy is a co-host of the reading series Reading Under the Influence, a show that combines words with booze. She’s also the founder of the Pilcrow Lit Fest, the managing editor of So New and author of Three Fallen Women. She’s also written for a number of publications. Check out her past works here.
So come on out this coming Monday at 7 p.m. at the Book Cellar and celebrate the summer with Essay Fiesta
