Victor is the son of immigrants from Mexico and Guatemala. He is the publisher, editor-in-chief, publicist and accountant for Curbside Splendor, a Chicago-based publisher of fiction and poetry. As a writer himself, his own work has appeared in Rougarou, Umbrella Factory Magazine, Jersey Devil Press, Diverse Voices Quarterly, ZaftigZen, the Logan Square Literary Review and others.
