Enter The Knee Jerk Essay Contest

Hello Essay Fiesta fans! Thank you to all who made it to High School Horror Stories. The show was absolutely fantastic. From Kelsie Huff’s emotional performance to Jen Bosworth’s hilarious tale of the sex trade, it seriously was a night to remember.

One of our good friends at the Book Cellar informed us of an essay contest. Knee-Jerk, a literary magazine edited in part by Jonathan Fullmer, is accepting submissions for their new creative non-fiction contest. Top prize is $500! The entry fee is $15, and the max word count is 5,000 words. To read the fine print, click here. The deadline is June 30.

And we’ll be sending out the Essay Fiesta newsletter next Monday. To receive your copy, click here.
