Our September Lineup is Ozone-tastic

Nothing says Essay Fiesta like the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. So come on over to The Book Cellar on Monday, September 16th at 7 pm for some stories from the greatest lineup of environmental warriors since those wimpy kids on Captain Planet:

Paul WhitehousePaul Whitehouse is a Chicago-based actor, storyteller, and arts educator. He tours the country with the educational theatre Child’s Play. As a solo performer and storyteller, he has had his one man show ½ Caf Chronicles produced by both Redmoon Theatre and Chemically Imbalanced Comedy Theatre, and has performed pieces at Strawdog Theatre, Stoop Style Stories, StoryLab Chicago, That’s All She Wrote, This Much is True, Paper Machete, and Acorn Theater in Three Oaks, Michigan. He is also a proud Kalamazoo College Graduate!

Erika Price is a social psychologist at Loyola University Chicago. She moved to Chicago four years ago to begin her career of experimenting on people, but mostly just to get out of Ohio. A few years ago she began writing creatively as a sanity-preserving endeavor, which is going pretty well on the creativity front, but not so much on the sanity one.

Dave Stinton has been writing and performing in Chicago for 16 years, with plays produced at WNEP theatre and the New York International Fringe Festival. He’s a past winner of WRITE CLUB and the Skald, and as a comedian he has performed at Just For Laughs Chicago and produces the Double-Shot Showcase.

Jackie Koester is a writer, actress, and improviser, who moved to Chicago to pursue a Casting Internship at the Goodman Theatre. Jackie writes humor pieces for 8bitbro, an online humor magazine, articles and poetry for That Being Said magazine, and is a feature travel writer for travelsage.com. After two years of living in Chicago, Jackie recently quit her day job brewing Mike’s Hard Lemonade to pursue her passion for travel and language.
