On June 15th, we will be less than a week away from the summer solstice, the day of the year on which the daylight glows longest. After the solstice, of course, the sun shines less and less each day. As early as the Fourth of July, while distracted by flashy exploding things, we will already be barreling toward another dark, cold winter – and ultimately toward our own extinction from this planet.
ANYWAY. Come on down to The Book Cellar on Monday, June 15th at 7 pm, for a lineup that will almost make you forget the impending darkness and gloom that foreshadows our inevitable ruin:
- Actor/Playwright Tania Richard
- Addison Recorded Co-Host Meryl Williams
- Heir to the Story Club Throne Ali Kelley
- Moth Grandslam Champion Nestor Gomez
- Professional Pun Maker Tom Wolferman
The show is free, as always, but bring some cash to donate to 826CHI.
