Hello friends of Essay Fiesta! We are just days away from our next installment of the zaniest narrative non-fiction series in town. And here to make it that much zanier is writer Johanna Stein.
Johanna is a very accomplished writer, director, producer and comedian. She has written for the New York Times about her experience as a mother. Television credits include writing for Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, the Disney Channel and Oxygen. She has also performed at a number of reading series throughout Chicago. This marks Johanna’s maiden voyage with Essay Fiesta.
So come on out July 18 at 7 p.m. to the Book Cellar and listen to some of the best storytellers in town tell it like it is…or was.
