Hey Essay Fiesta folk! It’s that time where we tell you all about our wonderful readers who will be joining us at our next show (Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Book Cellar). To kick of the new year, we have a ton of new faces. And two of these adorable punims are Natasha Tsoutsouris and Beth Cummings!
Natasha is a newcomer to Chicago’s storytelling scene, but she’s no amateur. This lady knows how to bring it. She also knows how to kick your butt, having been trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Beth is a tiny dynamo of storytelling. We first saw her kill it at Story Club. We also saw her selling her whimsical and artfully designed wares at the Bucktown Arts Festival. That’s right, in addition to being a writer, Beth is a designer. Check out (and buy) one of her pieces at her Etsy store.
