There’s nothing more exciting than learning. At least that the opinion of Essay Fiesta. And that’s why we love the Encyclopedia Show, the award-winning educational/literary event sprung from the inventive minds of Essay Fiesta alum Robbie Q. Telfer and Shanny Jean Maney.
Each month features a hodgepodge of artists who all present works centered around a specific theme. This month’s theme? Civil wars!
The show is like a three-ring circus for nerds, which is quite possibly the best compliment we could pay anyone. Music, comedy and literature take center stage as facts are checked by the stern Minister of Veracity (Essay Fiesta alum Ian Belknap).
The show is this Thursday (as opposed to its usual Wednesday slot) at the Vittum Theatre at 7:30 p.m.
