Hey Essay Fiesta fans! Grab a pen and mark your calendar for Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. That’s when Essay Fiesta makes its triumphant 2011 debut! (Can you believe you haven’t seen Essay Fiesta since 2010?)
To kick off the new year, we have a slew of new readers. One of these talented performers is Monte LaMonte. Monte is a stand-up comic and a lover of food. In fact, he loves food so much that he hosts his own spot on the television talking about food. It’s called Off The Eatin’ Path With Monte, and you can watch segments on WCIU’s website.
As always, we’ll be hosting a raffle at the end of the show to benefit Howard Brown Health Center. Although the community health organization did meet (and surpass) it’s Lifeline Appeal goal, more must be raised. Let’s do it…with words!
