Transcendental meditation is a mediation that utilizes a mantra ( a personalized phrase or sound) and is practiced twice a day for 20 minutes. It does not involve any belief or lifestyle change. With proper instruction, a person can experience a state in which the mind is quiet and experiences the infinite field of energy and intelligence. The Beatles, Howard Stern, Clint Eastwood, Jerry Seinfield and David Lynch all practice TM!
