You wanna see a real live literary bloodbath? One that will go down in Essay Fiesta history? Head to the Hideout for Write Club Tuesday the 15th at 7 p.m. to witness Keith Ecker and Alyson Lyon go at it…Write Club style.
Write Club, hosted by hilarious Essay Fiesta alumnus Ian Belknap, features two writers defending opposing ideas. Think Give vs. Take, Home vs. Away, Santa vs. Jesus. Each writer has 7 minutes to read his or her piece. The audience (complete with official jury) decides the winner, who then gets to give a cut of the door to the charity of their choice. Awesome!
We won’t spoil it by letting you know Keith and Alyson’s topics. You’ll just have to go and see!
