We’re not talking bears. We’re not talking sour peach rings or cola bottles or even twin snakes. We’re talking worms. There is (apparently) a whole, entire day devoted to gummy worms (or gummi worms, depending on your preferred brand) and who are we to question the calendar?
Just like you, we wouldn’t dream of missing this hallowed and solemn occasion. So grab a cup of chocolate pudding “mud”, crumble some chocolate cookie “dirt” on top, and then get yourself and your bags of candy nightcrawlers to The Book Cellar at 7pm on Monday, July 15th. Hosts Karen Shimmin and Willy Nast will be stuffing their faces with a patented combination of gelatin, food coloring, and corn syrup, while stuffing their ears with essay confections from this amazing lineup:
